As summer comes to an end we're having a colorful Flower Show! You're invited to a Community Flower Show at the Rochester Farmer's Market on Friday, September 11, from 3 - 6. For over 30 years, this show has been enjoyed at the Players' annual Harvest Fair, but with no fair this year it will be an add-on to the popular Farmer's Market.
The show will feature garden flowers and wild flowers, large as well as miniature arrangements, the bounty from our vegetable gardens, and imaginative fairy houses. Anyone may enter by bringing their creations to the bandstand between 2:00 and 3:00 that day. This show is for the enjoyment of all, and no entries will be judged.
Many people look forward to this annual event, and if you are able to, we invite you to contribute to the colorful display. Looking for a fun way to be part of the show? Use your imagination and create a vegetable "critter" using garden fruits and vegetables!
We will follow the safety protocols of masks, one-way traffic, and social distancing. Sponsored by the Flower Committee of the Rochester Federated Church.
