Re-Introducing CommFit and Yoga at the Outdoor Center

While we still have some nice weather, two standby fitness classes are coming back to the Craftsbury Outdoor Center in an outdoors-only format. Per Vermont Covid rules, all classes now require you to sign up ahead of time online and have a cap on registrants. See website for details.

CommFit: Mondays @ 6-7pm in the Lower Field. Taught by Hallie Grossman, this is all well-rounded class developed to improve balance, strength, and coordination through circuit style training. Chair Yoga: Wednesdays @ 9-10am in the Outdoor Gym. Taught by Liz Keglor, chair yoga is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. The poses, or asanas, are often adaptations of modern yoga poses. Chairs are provided. This class will run for the month of September, and then we will reevaluate based on the weather. Traditional Yoga: Wednesdays @ 5-6pm in the Outdoor Gym. Taught by Liz Keglor, this class takes a classical approach by focusing on cultivating awareness and connecting the mind and body to improve wellness. She teaches the philosophy of yoga, breath work and more traditional yoga styles from India. This class will run for the month of September, and then we will reevaluate based on the weather.
