Gardening for Resilience: Feeding our Soil, Seeds, Habitats and Communities
November 5 and 6, 2020
Have you ever asked yourself if something is compostable, or if you're composting correctly—and why this can mean a more successful and bountiful garden for you and the community!
More recently, you may have asked yourself what Vermont's new composting law means in practical terms. Please join us online in November to hear Natasha Duarte (CAV) and Cat Buxton, Vermont soil and compost experts, speak about Vermont's new composting law and to learn how to promote the healthy soil so important to abundant growth in the garden and to healthy ecosystems.
Our great lineup of speakers also includes:
Sylvia Davatz, expert seed saver, and founder of Solstice Seeds;
Dan Jaffe Wilder, our keynote speaker, the Horticulturalist and Propagator for the Norcross Wildlife Sanctuary; and
Jamaica Kincaid, award-winning writer, novelist, and Harvard professor
Registration is now open. The $40 fee includes access to both days, as well as live recording of the conference. Partial scholarships are available.
