Renee, my faithful walking/hiking black Lab, and I are celebrating her birthday with a hike up to the Long Trail. If you'd like to meet us on the trail, here's our 5-mile loop trail plan:

Monroe (1.4) - Dean (.8) - Allis (.2) - Long Trail (.4) - Dean - Monroe

We'll start our hike early (6:30 AM from the parking lot) and should be back to the trail head by noon. Since the side trails are less-traveled, it'll be reassuring to know that others might be keeping an eye out for us two older gals!
