Revitalizing Waterbury and the Waterbury Rotary Club have come together to host Celebrate Waterbury! This event features a local market and drive-in concert for the community on Saturday, September 12, 2020 with a rain date on Sunday, September 13th. It is free and will take place in Pilgrim Park behind the train station.
The fun will begin at 4 pm with an arts and crafts market featuring a variety of artist and vendor booths. In addition, food vendors will be offering yummy treats for picnicking on the lawn. At 6 pm, "Still Kickin'" will take center stage for a fun and unique concert that folks can enjoy from either a drive-in or walk-in spot.
Though the event is free, reservations are required for either a drive-in or walk-in pod. Every precaution is being made to ensure a physically distant and safe event. Per state mandate, everyone must wear a mask or cloth facial covering over their nose and mouth at all times except when within their individual drive-in or walk-in pod. Entrances will be monitored and hand sanitization stations will be available. The local market will be run based on Vermont's farmers market rules with one-direction flow.
