Potters for Justice Fundraiser in Craftsbury

Past event
Sep 5, 2020, 10 AM to 1 PM

This Saturday, Sept. 5, I'll be hosting a second Potters for Justice fundraiser at the Craftsbury Farmers' Market. There are LOTS of pots available and ALL SALES will be donated to two nonprofits working in our communities:

Northeast Kingdom Organizing is a grassroots, member-led community organizing group that is working to improve the quality of life for residents of VT's Northeast Kingdom. NEKO works on issue areas identified by its members, and is an important force for redistributing power in our local communities.

VT Racial Justice Alliance is a BIPOC-led organization working at a statewide level (and in Chittenden County) to promote ethical & equitable policy changes, and to dismantle the systemic roots of racism in Vermont.

Six local potters and a fabric artist are participating:
Uphill Pottery
Muddy Creek Pottery
Emma Podolin Redware
Dirt Floor Studio
Beth Cate Ceramics
Jen Jones (Rusty Bird Farm)
Early Morning Studio

Please wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines. See you there!
