Join us for a FREE concert series at North End Studios O'Brien Community Center on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 6:00-7:30 pm featuring Sabouyouma, cultural journey to West Africa, featuring balafon and drums.
Sabouyouma is a high energy, 6-piece polyrhythm groove machine that formed in Burlington, Vermont. Master ballafonise Ousmane Camera leads the band on a journey of the West African roots of jazz, funk and the blues. Other members include Daniel Bishop -- Bass
Assane Coly -- Djembe, Congas, Graham Lambert – Guitar, Joshua Morse -- Percussion, Melodica and Dan Ryan – Drums.
Bring a blanket or chair to sit on and a mask to wear and enjoy some free music outside. Food and beverage purchases are available. The entrance is through the gate on the railroad-tracks side of the parking lot. No through bike or foot traffic through the back driveway from 5-8 pm on concert days.
