It's August, and time to celebrate. Celebrate our library, which is welcoming visitors again; celebrate four wonderful weeks of fun, busy camp; celebrate Be The Animal campers who win the prize for the most books borrowed during their week; and celebrate our Guilford families, who have managed the last five months with fortitude and creativity.
Let's have a family picnic, COVID style, a zoomnic if you will. We'll all gather around our tables (picnic or kitchen), to eat together and share family stories. Decorate your table with a cheery and colorful table cloth, so that our zoom boxes are really eye catching and inviting.
To help us celebrate together, the library invites you to come to the library for a "curbside pickup." Monday through Wednesday, August 24, 25, or 26, 1-6 PM and pick up some books and marshmallows. The books are for you to keep, and the marshmallows…………well, we'd be roasting them over the fire if we were AT the library.
