Ten Critical Questions Will Be Answered at
NMHS on April 17th

The following questions will be answered at the Green Living Fun Living Night at NMHS on April 17th:
1) Is solar power affordable in Northfield? There will be several solar providers present to provide all information needed at the GLFL Night.
2) What is a smoothie bike? Students will be using smoothie bikes to create 300 human powered smoothies at the GLFL Night.
3) Are solar houses affordable to build? Norwich University will presenting at the GLFL Night on their Delta 90; an award winning affordable Solar House.
4) Is it expensive to compost? Mad River Resource Alliance will be providing low cost composting materials at the GLFL Night.
5) Can a well-insulated house be build out of concrete? Insulated Concrete Forms of Waterbury, will provide a hands on demonstration of the use of insulated concrete forms at the GLFL Night.
6) What is compost tea? Charlie Morse will provide a hands on demonstration of creating this highly concentrated fertilizer at the GLFL Night.
7) Can you lease an electric car for a reasonable price? 802 Honda will provide you with some examples at the GLFL Night.
8) Can Lisa Burr and 15 seventh grade students prepare a pasta dinner? Yes, it is expected to be a delicious dinner at the GLFL Night. The cost will be $5 a person.
9) Where can you pick up the hottest jewelry in town? Members of the Bridges After School Program will be presenting their exclusive line of hand -made jewelry at the GLFL night.
10) Can you save over $800 dollar a year on your energy bill? Yes, everyone who attends the GLFL Night will receive a free home energy kit in the mail that will feature, LED light bulbs, advanced power strip, a low flow shower head and other resources to save energy.

The Green Team and Seventh Grade students invite the whole town to attend Green Living Fun Living Night at NMHS on April 17th from 5:00 – 8:00. Live green, have fun, save the planet!
