The United Church of Cabot will hold an Easter Sunrise Service at the Cabot Plains Cemetery, on Cabot Plains Road. Sunrise this Sunday is at 5:58 a.m., so folks who are early risers should be there at 5:45 if you want to help kindle the vigil fire and see the sun come up over Mt. Washington, with one of the best views in Vermont behind you. After the short service, make your way downtown to the church, where breakfast will be served (no charge, but donations accepted) from 7:00 to 9:00. And the regular Easter Sunday Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wear your Easter bonnet at 10:00, but warm clothes are suggested at sunrise!
