The Jeudevine Library and the Galaxy Bookshop are hosting Vermont author Stephen Kiernan at the Atkins Field Pavilion on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:30 PM. You must register for this event (info below). Kiernan is celebrating the release of his fourth novel: UNIVERSE OF TWO. The wartime romance of Charlie and Brenda becomes entangled in Charlie's top secret work on the Manhattan Project. Following the war, the two embark on a journey toward redemption for the part they played in the development of the atomic bomb. Kiernan's historical novel is based on the life of the actual mathematician Charlie Fisk. Kiernan is also the author of two nonfiction works.
I have personally enjoyed his three previous novels and I am looking forward to hearing him read from his newest book and to read it myself!
Due to COVID 19 registration is limited to 16 attendees. Everyone is asked to bring their own chair and to wear a mask. We will space people 6 feet apart. We have had some other successful events at Atkins Field in this way. Here is the link to register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/stephen-kiernan-live-at-atkins-field-tickets-114979033384
