Now in its 10th year, the Sprouty is a 5K walk/run and 10K run that is going VIRUTAL for 2020!

The Sprouty supports the Farm-to-School program at the Sharon Elementary School. The race is committed to bringing out community members and serious runners alike as we celebrate good health, local agriculture and the beauty of September in Vermont. Kids 12 and under register for free (optional t-shirt fee applies for participants 12 and under).

How it works:

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE?

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on a track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. You can also complete the virtual Sprouty 5K or 10K on the regular Sprouty route (see map on the website) but it will not be marked or staffed.

Once you have completed your race, you will …

Get a t-shirt and feel good about supporting the farm to school program at Sharon Elementary School.

In early October we will have a t-shirt pick up event. If you are located in a very distant place, we will do our best to mail you your t-shirt if you can't make it to our pick up event.
