Have you been researching your family history and its relation to the system of slavery? Have you identified ancestors who were enslaved or were slaveholders? We invite you to join our online discussion group of Central Vermonters who are exploring this important and troubling part of our family heritage. Previously we met at a local cafe. Now, we will be holding our first on-line gathering (via Zoom) on Tuesday, August 25, 6 - 8 pm. It will be a time for sharing research discoveries, asking for advice and resource suggestions, and discussing the challenges that come from uncovering truths that were long hidden.
