Please join Vermont Legal Aid for a free 30-Minute Town Hall about changes to unemployment benefits and eligibility as more Vermonters are starting to get offers to return to work. This town hall is on Thursday, August 13 at 10 a.m. Attorney Kelli Kazmarski will talk about changes like the ending of the $600/week in federal unemployment benefits, what happens to unemployment benefits when you are not able to return to work for reasons like dependent care or health/safety concerns, and issues related to overpayment of benefits. Kelli will also answer your questions live.
