The Little City Cabaret at the Vergennes Opera House!

Past event
Aug 14, 7:30 PM to 5 PM, Aug 16, 2020

The Little City Cabaret or "How to Put on a Show During a Pandemic," is turning into quite the amazing production with world-class talent taking the little city stage for three live performances:

Friday, August 14, 7:30pm - doors open at 6:30, reserved table seating
Saturday, August 15, 7:30pm - doors open at 6:30pm, reserved table seating
Sunday, August 16, 3pm - doors open at 2pm, reserved table seating

As we get closer to the performance dates, rehearsals have moved from ZOOM online to the Opera House itself. Our performers include Broadway pros Bill Carmichael (aka Bill Walsh) and Elisa Van Duyne with Tim Barden, Caitlin Walsh and Jonny Barden joining them on stage. Accompanying them on piano is Broadway Direct show veteran Scott Nicholas.
They pulled together a great variety of songs from both classic Broadway shows like "The Fantastiks" and "Annie Get Your Gun", to more contemporary shows like "Hamilton" and "Dear Evan Hansen", to name a few.

SAFETY IS PRIORITY #1
Though the State of Vermont allows for 50% capacity for this show (150 seats of 300), we opted for extra safety by limiting tickets to just 50 per show. We have additional safety measures in place such as mandatory face coverings, reserved seating (tables and chairs spaced 6'+ apart), hand sanitizers throughout the space, temperature checks at the door and heightened sanitizing procedures.

TO GET TICKETS – there are two type – one for a live show in the VOH and one for a link to a film of the show:
Live show tickets can be purchased at this link: https://littlecitycabaret.eventbrite.com/
Online access to the video of the show can be purchased here: https://thelittlecitycabaretonline.eventbrite.com (a link will be emailed to you approximately 10-days later).

MAKE IT A DINNER AND A SHOW: Ticket holders are encouraged to pack a picnic to enjoy at the concert. Our local restaurants have exceptional to-go dinners down to a science.
