South Hero Land Trust is organizing the annual Green Up Day clean-up of South Hero streets and shorelines on Saturday, May 3rd. They are looking for volunteers to join them. An hour of your time will make a huge difference in cleaning up our community in time for spring and summer walking and biking. You can sign up to clean-up your street or a section near you any time during the morning, and/or participate in the South Hero Land Trust sponsored group pick up of White’s Beach from 10:00-11:00 am. If you and your family would like to participate in this joint effort, please let us know!

Afterwards join South Hero Land Trust for a celebratory BBQ at the Folsom School Playground. Free burgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers will be served fresh off the grill from 11:00-12:30. The BBQ is held to thank the dedicated Green-Up volunteers for keeping South Hero beautiful and caring for the community landscape. Many thanks to Island Homemade Ice Cream for donating their delicious ice cream for dessert!
