The Derby Line Annual meeting was supposed to be held on the 1st Tuesday of April. Because of COVID, the annual meeting had to be postponed to a date where the village trustees felt it could be held again.
The Village is pleased to announce that the new date for Derby Line Annual Meeting will be on:
August 18 at 6:30pm at the
Derby Line Fire Station, 239 Elm Street, Derby Line
Face masks and social distancing will be required.
NOTICE - There is currently a vacant village trustee position. This position will be voted upon at this meeting. If you wish to serve your community and want to serve as trustee, please put your name forward as a candidate for village trustee. In order to be a village trustee, you must be a registered voter who resides in Derby Line.
Please GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY!! This is true democracy in action and your voice can be heard for YOUR community. Derby Line water/sewer infrastructure issues - are you aware of these? What are your opinions on opening all roads in the village to ATV's? Should the Haskell Library and Opera House be given a donation from the village? Should the village sell the old village garage?
