Celebrate Poetry Month with Award-Winning Poets Sydney Lea, Karin Gottshall, Kerrin McCadden and Geof Hewitt
Tuesday, 4/15, 6pm at Shelburne Town Hall
The Flying Pig Bookstore in Shelburne is thrilled to be hosting a poetry reading with four amazing Vermont poets: Vermont Poet Laureate Sydney Lea and award-winning poets Karin Gottshall, Kerrin McCadden and Geof Hewitt.
The poets have been chosen for their distinct poetic voices and variety of styles from narrative to impressionistic; their subject matter ranges from harrowing to hilarious. There is something for everyone at this event, even those who have never read poetry before!
The even takes place this Tuesday, 4/15 at Shelburne Town Hall at 6pm. The poets' books will be available for purchase and signing, and we will provide snacks for hungry listeners. RSVPs encouraged by email flyingpigevents@gmail.com or calling 985-3999.
