When Governor Scott ordered close contact businesses, including gyms and fitness centers to close down on Saturday March 21st, Christie Garofano was on the way to her fitness studio to workout and give the space another deep cleaning but upon hearing the news, lost no ground wondering what she was going to do with her business being closed. Within 15 minutes of getting the news, Christie opened the studio up for clients to come by and borrow fitness equipment to continue training on home via Zoom starting within 24 hours of closure. She has not looked back since and recently decided that her business of training and coaching clients in groups, semi-privately, and 1 on 1 was better off going 100% remote, 100% of the time. Join us to hear how Christie has continuously made thoughtful yet quick decisions to keep her business sustainable despite a worldwide pandemic. It is a story of mindset, bravery, risk, and a desire for the highest quality of life possible while still paying bills and saving for the future.
