Exploring Our Vision and Mission for Bennington
What is our aspirational vision for Bennington?
How does the Bennington Police Department mission support that vision?
Wednesday, August 5 at 6 pm
Bennington Fire House, 1st Floor
We will review the concepts of vision, mission, programs, policies, projects, activities, and tasks.
We will explore the mission statement of the Bennington Police Department and its relationship to an aspirational value statement created by Select Board, Police Department, and Town Staff in Bennington.
Aspirational Statement:
"Bennington is an engaged, diverse, and resilient community where all contribute to our shared vitality and benefit from an outstanding quality of life."
Mission Statement of Bennington Police Department:
"The mission of the Bennington Police Department is to enhance the quality of life within the Community by achieving excellence in law enforcement and public safety while fostering a positive relationship with all of those we serve."
Participants are encouraged to review community policing materials ahead of time at http://benningtonvt.org/community-policing/
