We have an exciting meeting planned by Zoom. Only days before the primary election vote, we'll have several guests:
-- Lt. Gov. David Zuckerman, running for Governor
-- VT State Senator Tim Ashe, running for Lt. Gov.
-- Asst. Atty. General Molly Gray, running for Lt. Gov.

We'll give each of them an opportunity to share some words about who they are and why they're running, and hopefully we'll have some time for questions for each. Remember to get your absentee ballot request in to the Town Office if you want to vote from home this year!

After our guests, we will be voting on our nominations for Justice of the Peace. Rochester has five Justices of the Peace. As the Town Democratic Committee, we will nominate two. Please email me and let me know if you would like to be considered for the nomination. If we have more than two people interested, we will give each candidate an opportunity to speak during the meeting before we vote. Secret or paper ballot is not required, so we will be voting electronically through Zoom or a show of hands. As a reminder, when voting for these nominees, only Rochester Town Democratic Party Committee members can vote.
