Join Do North Coworking on Facebook Live each month for candid conversations with some of rural Vermont's most passionate and influential startups and small business owners. This series celebrates our rural, resilient, and entrepreneurial community.
On Tuesday, August 18th, we'll be speaking with Aureon (AJ) Nommik. AJ is an NEK native and restaurant entrepreneur, with ventures including Salt Bistro in downtown St. Johnsbury, the Vermont Catering Company, and Cooking with AJ, a cooking class for low-income households. During the pandemic he has boosted St. Johnsbury's vibrancy with outdoor seating and live music events at Salt Bistro, and is working to launch a new food truck, Vermont Street Eats. AJ will join us to talk about his journey from graduate of New England Culinary Institute to successful restaurateur, and his plans for growth amid the pandemic.
