The Lincoln Democratic Committee will meet via zoom to nominate candidates for Justice of the Peace on Monday, August 3 at 7:00 pm. Some duties of a JP include helping conduct elections, hearing tax payer appeals and performing marriages. JPs are members of the Board of Civil Authority.

During the general election on Nov 3, Lincoln voters will elect 7 Justices of the Peace. However, to get on the Democratic ballot you must submit your name to me no later than August 3 and join our zoom meeting on that date.
Current JPs who have already contacted me do not need to contact me again. However, you should participate in our zoom meeting August 3.
