Dear Neighbors,

TOMORROW, SATURDAY, BEGINNING AT 1OAM will be a community food pickup in the Champlain Elementary parking lot (800 Pine Street).

We will have 250 bags of groceries and grocery gift cards. Each bag will include a gallon of fresh cool milk, bread, bagels, pasta, beans, tuna, a dozen eggs and, for the first time, we are including at least two kinds of fresh produce, handpicked by neighborhood volunteers. Anyone in need is welcome and encouraged to come.

Thank you to many generous community partners including, Market 32, Cheese and Wine Traders, City Market, Great Harvest, Feldman's Bagels, Myer's Bagels, Red Onion, Trader Joe's, Burlington Bagel Bakery, the City of Burlington and Friends of Bernie with assistance from the Vermont Foodbank. We will have masks from the City of Burlington.

If you would like to make a financial donation to this effort, please send a check to me made out to the City of Burlington or please come by the food pick up this Saturday. We are grateful for your support of this effort.

My best,
Karen
