It's going to take a lot of happy thoughts to help Peter remember who he is and where he came from. Join us on August 1st, second star to the right and straight on till morning (AKA the Reading Public Library)!

Who: You and your 49 other healthy local friends and family members that promise to wear a mask and maintain a minimum 6-ft distance from those not in their own group.

What: Hook, starring Robin Williams/Dustin Hoffman/Julia Roberts projected on the big screen.

Where: Puddledock Park, just outside of the Reading Public Library at 717 Route 106 in Reading, VT.

When: Saturday, August 1st at 730pm ET.

Why: The Reading Recreation Commission is hoping to bring a small taste of normalcy back to the village. We understand that you may be hesitant and there is no pressure from us nor the community at large to join us. If you do decide to join us, you will be welcomed with an air-hug and smile detectable only by the rise of cheekbones and slight squinting of the eyes beneath a mask.

How: By asking those able to join us to reserve a spot on our Facebook event page (link below) or emailing us at ReadingVTRecreation@gmail.com. This will help to ensure we can keep this event as safe as possible and ensure everyone's comfort.

We're also asking all attendees to please bring a piece of paper with your name and phone number on it to help us keep track of those that joined us to speed up the sign-in process.

We will be roping off an area of the park a safe distance away for anyone at a higher risk.
