Do you have an interest in serving as a Justice of the Peace for the Town of Monkton? Besides officiating weddings, JPs administer elections and sit on the Board of Civil Authority which holds tax grievance and abatement hearings. To become a JP all you have to do is be nominated to have you name on the ballot at either the Republican or Democratic Town Committee Caucus. The Democratic Town Committee of MONKTON will hold a caucus for the purpose of electing nominees to stand for election as Justice of the Peace on the 2020 General Election Ballot.
