Do you own property or love a particular piece of land, and want to know how it fits into this long-term vision for state? If so, this presentation may be for you! Join UVM M.S. Field Naturalist alumna Carolyn Loeb as she gives a brief introduction to Vermont Conservation Design and then demonstrates how to use BioFinder - Vermont's online mapping tool for the design - step by step! Finally, test your knowledge on a sample property during an online group discussion. This 1-hour presentation should give you the basic skills to begin looking at your own property on BioFinder to answer the questions: what makes my land special, and how is it connected to everything else?
