Dear Neighbors,

This past Monday, the City Council unanimously passed a resolution to create a BLACK LIVES MATTER mural on Main Street, between South Winooski Avenue and St Paul Street. The Council extends a warm and open invitation to the entire community to participate in the painting of this mural.

This event will take place this Sunday, July 19 at 2pm. This is a community led and community funded event with the assistance of many City departments. Special thanks to the Department of Public Works, Burlington City Arts, the Church Street Marketplace, Parks and Rec, the office of Racial Equity, Inclusion and Belonging and the Administration. We hope you will join us for this special event.
