Only two weeks until the 3rd Annual Gear Swap & Clothing Sale. Now is the perfect time to start thinking about spring and all the great outdoor activities that await. Money raised through the Gear Swap goes to help the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps and Burlington Sunrise Rotary. Outdoor Gear Exchange and CC Outdoor Store will be on hand with plenty of discounted new hear, and there is always an ample supply of gently used gear.
If you have any outdoor gear (tents, packs, sleeping bags, stoves, snowshoes, etc.) that you are not using anymore, or wish to upgrade, consider donating or consigning - you’ll get 80% of the sale or 100% towards another purchase.
Clothing sells quickly: Go through your closets and lighten your load. Coats, fleece, soft shells, hats, mittens, etc. Nearly everything went last year.
Please: no skis, snowboards or used footwear. It just does not sell at this event.
Spread the word: We are posting lawn signs around Chittenden County. Let me know if you want one.
Stop by the Richmond Monitor Barn on April 26 between 9:00 - 3:00: We will have a barn-full of gear, a lawn full of tents, music by Longford Row, food and fun.
