An hilarious play coming to Chandler on-line Saturday shows there's no age limit on love.
Cloudburst, by Thom Fitzgerald, tells the story of two 80-year-old lesbians who go "on the lam" to Canada to marry there, before it was legal for them to marry in the US. Directed by Margo Whitcomb (Burlington), the cast members are Orlando Grant (Burlington), Andra Kisler (Northfield), Susan Loynd (Fayston), Jacob Martin (Chelsea), Laura Roald (Jericho), and Karli Robertson (Montpelier).
About the script, Ms. Whitcomb says: "This is a fast-paced, high-jinks 'road movie'-type play, with tremendous heart and depth! You're sure to find it delightful, and right now we all could use a good laugh!"
Immediately after the play, there will be a live Q&A with Ms. Whitcomb and her cast members.
Tickets are $10 each, and can be purchased at www.chandler-arts.org.
