Neighbors -
I'm thrilled that so many women are running for office in Vermont, up and down the ballot. Lately we've seen women in political leadership roles around the country and the globe provide bold, decisive and effective responses to the many crises we are facing right now.
Rebecca Holcombe brings all of that to her bid for governor - along with a vision for a vibrant and equitable economic recovery that addresses the needs of all Vermonters, including those who are most at risk of being left behind. In her role as VT Secretary of Education she proved her ability to tackle complex issues with courage, creativity and smarts.
Rebecca will be in Burlington on Monday, 7/13. Please join me in Calahan Park from 4-5pm to meet her, ask about her vision for Vermont and share the issues that are most important to you.
You'll find us under the Rebecca for Vermont banner. We will be safely distancing, of course. Don't forget your mask!
And request your ballot now - it needs to be returned by the time the polls close on primary day, August 11th! You can find more information about early and absentee voting here: https://sos.vermont.gov/elections/
