Have you ever wanted to try your hand at painting. Well, now you can and have a drink or two while you are at it.

There will be a Paint 'N' Sip scheduled for August 2, at 3:00 pm at the Newport VFW Post 798, 141 Central St, Newport 05855.

Cost is $35.00 pre-paid or $40.00 at the door. You will receive 2 tickets for your choice of drink. Usually light snack is available.

So mark your calendar and gather up your family and friends and head to the VFW for some fun and paint a little while you are at it.
