It's not often that the Vermont State Poet Laureate comes to Jeffersonville, but on Saturday, April 12, the current laureate, Sydney Lea, will be reading his work at Visions of Vermont Art Gallery on Main St. The event, Poetry, Music, and Delectable Delights! is hosted by Sundog Poetry Center, Inc. and includes poetry readings by Lea and local poet Tamra Higgins, live music by local musicians Dale and Darcy Cahill, and delicious foods by local caterer, Lucy Burdick.
