About Kesha: In 2008, Kesha Ram won a seat in the Vermont House of Representatives at 22 years old, becoming one of the youngest legislators in the country. She served with distinction in the legislature for eight years, including on Ways & Means and as Vice Chair of Natural Resources & Energy. She is running for State Senate in Chittenden County to continue her work strengthening the economy for families and small businesses, supporting her community, expanding access to comprehensive early and higher education, ensuring a just and sustainable climate transition, and advancing racial justice.
If elected this year, Kesha would be the youngest woman ever to serve in the Vermont State Senate and the first woman of color. She has received the endorsements of Gov. Madeleine Kunin, Congressman Ro Khanna, the People for the American Way Foundation, Rachel's Action Network, Rights & Democracy, Williston Rep. Jim McCullough, business leader Bill Schubart, and many elected officials around the county.
