Summer Reading begins at Pope Memorial Library. Christy Mihaly, local Vermont author, will lead a StoryWalk that features her picture book, Hey, Hey, Hay! A Tale of Bales and the Machines That Make Them. This event will take place in the field behind the library (located opposite the Danville Green and behind the Methodist Church) giving us lots of space for physical distancing and lots of opportunity for fun. Register for Summer Reading and receive reading logs, stickers, bookmarks and more. Hey, Hey, Hay! will be available for purchase and Christy will be signing them for readers. Please join us at the Pope for our Summer Reading Kick-off. See you there! (Masks - especially for adults - are recommended.)
