The Craftsbury Community Care Center is offering a beautiful two-person 16' canoe handcrafted by local artisan Phil Pike as a fundraiser to replace our Annual Auction and Barbecue (canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic). It is built with local white cedar and is a functional watercraft as well as being pleasing to the eye.
Ticket sales are limited to 200 at $50 each. The drawing will be held at noon on Saturday, August 8, at the Craftsbury Farmer's Market. You don't need to be present to win. You may request tickets by emailing ccccenter@myfairpoint.net or by contacting a board member. Tickets are also available at The Miller's Thumb Gallery in Greensboro. If there are tickets still available, you may purchase them before the drawing at the Craftsbury Farmer's Market where the canoe will be on display. Watch for popup displays on Greensboro and Craftsbury lawns. Photos of the canoe are posted at the Care Center website: www.CraftsburyCommunityCareCenter.org.
