Celebrate the 4th: Lemonade, Chalk Art + Anti-Racism

Past event
Jul 4, 2020, 10 AM to 2 PM

I'll be celebrating the 4th this way - please join!

There's nothing more patriotic than standing up to injustice. Join Kesha Ram + Tiff Bluemle + Taylor Small + Art So Wonderful and a growing number of co-hosts as we take to the streets to show Vermont solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement!

We'll provide the chalk and lemonade, and you draw your vision of racial justice for our country. Words, drawings, colors - it's all fair game! Local artists will be kicking off this family-friendly mural project, and it's up to you to come add your vision for our future community.

To top it off, we'll be bumping Beyonce's Lemonade album, and have voter registration and absentee voting information on site - come ask our volunteers anything you need to know to vote in the upcoming Primary on August 11!

COVID-19 Policy: We ask guests to RSVP for a time slot so we can stagger the flow of participants and get everyone a chance to participate. Masks + proper social distancing required at all times, if there is a wait to draw please keep 6' from other artists.
