Fox Paw School Tracking Club This Saturday!

Fox Paw School's wildlife tracking club meets this weekend! We'll be meeting every first Saturday of the month from 9am to noon, at the Stranahan Town Forest in Marshfield. Join us as we explore the tracks, sign, trees/plants, and habitat that our North Woods home has to offer! I'll provide some loose structure and instruction, so bring snacks, water, field guides, a mask, and your curiosity. There's no charge, and proper physical distancing will be observed.

Our next meeting will be this Saturday, July 4th. We'll walk old logging roads in search of deer tracks, search for animal sign in the forest, and identify birds by sight, sound, silhouette, and behavior. Tracking club is a preview of the naturalist and tracking skills I teach in my 7-month North Woods Naturalist intensive, which runs one weekend a month, starting in late fall.

When: Saturday, July 4th, 9am-noon
Where: Stranahan Town Forest in Marshfield
Cost: Free!
Bring: Water, snacks, binoculars, field guides, and a mask.

Upcoming Fox Paw classes:
- Nature and Spirit, a 4-part series co-taught with Fearn Lickfield of the Green Mountain Druid Order, exploring the overlap between nature-based spirituality and naturalist skills. This sliding scale class starts in mid-July, and registration is live at:
