Please come and discuss the school budget revote and the budget proposal with your school board members. We will be meeting at the Castleton Elementary School (outside pavilion) on Thursday, July 9 @6pm. The budget revote is set for Tuesday, August 11, the Vermont State Primary voting day. While understanding our current national situation we would like to hear from the public as well have a chance to have conversations about:
*unfunded mandates
*contractual obligations
*the structure of the district office
*the current configuration of the schools in our district(how and when schools can be closed)
*the needs of our student population
*and to discuss the opening of schools in the fall with the guidelines from the State of Vermont.
