June 27, 2-3pm Join us via Zoom, for an educational program and discussion about global trade systems and what we can do to break the cycles of abuse we as consumers inflict on small producers around the globe.We will explore the history of global trade and how it has historically come at the expense of marginalizing native nations. We will also discuss The Fair Trade Movement as an alternative trading system to ensure that producers in the Global South are given access to the global market, and also provided with basic human rights.
