The COVID-19 Pandemic has increased the number of folks experiencing food insecurity in Vermont, and many people were already hungry before the pandemic. Every week the three Brattleboro state representatives host a community conversation to talk about what's happening in the legislature and hear from the community on what we should be bringing with us as we develop policy. This next Saturday we are hosting an open conversation about food, food systems and food security. We hope you can join us! The list of invited folks includes both farmers, activists, and folks who work with the charitable food system.
