Buy an extra bag for the North End Food Pantry! Without the regular non-perishable collection efforts of the US Postal Service and at the polls this year, the pantry is in need of non-perishable food donations. Whether you have come into some unexpected EBT funds that are more than you need, or are just wanting to do your part to combat food insecurity here in the New North End, you can do something about it right now by buying an extra bag of food whether you are at the grocery store or the farmers market. Whatever non-perishable foods or essentials you regularly use and buy, throw an extra in your shopping cart for a neighbor. Then drop off your donations on Sunday, 6/21 or Sunday, 6/28 between noon and 2 pm at the pantry, located in the Oddfellows building at 1416 North Avenue. We'll be collecting donated items out back in the parking lot. You may also simply send a check to the North End Food Pantry to the address above. 100% of donated funds will go to purchasing grocery gift cards for members of our community.
