ARTIST LORETTA LANGUET Altering on and off the Wheel and Decorative Slip Play 
April 26-27, 2014
10am-2pm

In this short but intensive workshop we will explore various techniques for altering pots on and off the wheel and decorating with liquid colored slips. We will use the basic forms of bowls and plates to experiment with scalloped edges, altered rims and “not so round” shapes. After we will explore additions like handles and embellishments and different rhythm inspired slip-decorating techniques. Bring with you a leather hard pot or several wet slabs, some of your favorite brushes and a playful sense of adventure. Limit 12 students.

$90.00 a student includes slip and a cone 06 bisque fire.
