Next week, Gov. Shumlin will sign a proclamation on Advanced Directives, an essential tool for guiding your healthcare choices when you can no longer speak for yourself.
To help people with what can be a very difficult conversation with friends and family, Franklin County Home Health Agency and the other member agencies of the VNAs of Vermont, Your nonprofit home health and hospice agencies, have developed conversation starter kits and community presentations. The next community presentation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Swanton. This is a free presentation open to everyone and appropriate for adults of all ages.
For more information, or to arrange a similar presentation in your community, contact Mary Harwood, Franklin County Home Health Agency, (802) 393-6717 or email, mharwood@fchha.org.
