Save the Date: the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection on August 1, 9 am - 1 pm, at the Barre Town Garage. Fee is $20 per carload. CVSWMD residents only. Businesses must call ahead at least a week in advance to 802-229-9383 x115.

This year we have some new safety precautions in place related to COVID 19. Please read all of them if you plan to attend our event:

• CVSWMD Residents only*
• Remain in vehicle with mask on
• All hazwaste must be in car trunk or truck bed
• Pay in exact change or check ($20 per carload)
• No garbage bags
• No containers will be returned (gas cans, bins, etc.)
• No pets allowed
