Support families experiencing postpartum depression and isolation
Join us the week of June 15 for a community-wide virtual event to support families with babies!
The Climb Out of the Darkness is an annual awareness-raising event about postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).
We climb this year as a symbol of care for the caregivers in our community. We climb to support Central Vermont families and community members experiencing isolation during the COVID-19 crisis. And as we do every year, we climb to tell families with babies that you are not alone. We see you, we care about you, and we are here for you!
Because of the need for physical distancing, we won't gather in person on the State House Lawn. Instead, join us online and outdoors, throughout Central Vermont, for a week of caring and staying connected - safely - wherever we may be.
Look for #ClimbCareConnect posters in your community with suggestions for keeping connected and caring for others who may be isolated.
Go on a "Choose Your Own Adventure" climb to honor your - or a loved one's climb out of the darkness.
Play Self Care / Community Care BINGO! Download BINGO cards from the Facebook event or our Causevox page. Send us your completed card and get entered in a Grand prize drawing on June 20. Pick one or play both for more chances to win.
