On Monday June 8 at 5 pm, Bristol residents will honor George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and all those who have been killed by systemic racism and poverty. We will stand, sit or take a knee on the Bristol Green in silence for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in honor of the time George Floyd had the literal knee of the State on his neck. Please wear a mask and maintain 6 feet distance. This moment is in conjunction with the Poor People's Campaign, A National Call for Moral Revival.
