Volunteer Work Day: Poultney Elementary School Community Trail Project
Where: Poultney Elementary School. Meet adjacent to the playground.

Slate Valley Trails (SVT) is excited to offer its first community trail work day of the season on a brand new loop trail at the Poultney Elementary School (PES) and Veterans Park. No trail building experience necessary. Stay for as long as you can.

Bring your own work gloves, water, face mask/covering. Please consider bringing your own tools if you have them, but we will have tools on hand. Work to be done includes: clearing small brush, cutting small roots, raking gravel and dirt, and installing fence posts/and rails.

We will be abiding by the most recent State of Vermont and CDC guidelines for trail work and social distancing, including but not limited to: limiting group sizes to 10 or fewer, wearing masks, social distancing, and disinfecting tools.
