State Lands Forester David Wilcox will present a workshop on tree pruning, demonstrating pruning tools and techniques for health, strength, beauty and — in the case of fruit trees — production. The first part of the workshop will be in the East Montpelier Room on the basement level of the library. The second part will take place outside tackling typical pruning issues that homeowners face.This program is sponsored by the Central Vermont Extension Master Gardeners and the Montpelier Tree Board. It is free and open to the public.
