Grace Brethren Church Worship Service

Past event
May 31, 2020, 10 to 11 AM

Greetings,

The Grace Brethren Church is planning on meeting outside again for worship this Sunday, May 31, 2020, at 10 am.

There is a 20% chance of rain, so if it rains we will move indoors to the auditorium. Governor Scott has opened worship services at 25% of a church's building compacity. Ours holds 130 people so we can have up to 33 people in the building. The first 33 will be seated and we will have to ask the rest to try again another day. If we do go inside, every other pew is blocked off for physical distancing, and we ask families to sit together but others to sit 6 feet apart. Also, please be sensitive to those who are physically vulnerable by wearing a mask, not hugging, and not shaking hands.

If we can meet outside, please stay 6 feet apart on the grass or in the parking lot. You can sit in your car if you would like. You will need to roll down your window to hear the service. Like last week, a box will be set out for offerings rather than sending around an offering plate. The temperature is supposed to be around 55-60 degrees, so you might want to dress warmly and have an umbrella available. Restrooms will be open, but please stay 6 feet apart, according to the marks on the floor, while waiting in line.

For those who cannot make it, we will be showing the service live on Facebook. We are not going to use Zoom this week since we have had some trouble getting it to work properly. Anyone can watch the live feed at https://www.facebook.com/lvgbc/live/. It will also be recorded and posted to our Facebook page to view later.

We look forward to seeing you Sunday!

In Christ,
